AMERICA STARING AT THE DARKNESS UNDER THE SUN

The hype is at a fever pitch.. The masses are prepped with their glasses. Hopefully they are certified and won’t leave them behind blinded and whimpering in a vast field of sunlight..

The solar eclipse, the Great American Eclipse, is set to begin on Monday August 21.. From coast to coast and sea to plastic-filled sea, the entire continental United States will witness the darkening of their skies.. the foreboding view of a moon in transit between the earth and the solar source of life..

So this is it.. The big one. I myself have waited for a year in anticipation. I have my glasses, my location.. and even a welder’s mask as a backup in case the glasses don’t work properly..

Amazingly enough, the eclipse is coming at a time in America where darkness of history seems equal to what will be witnessed in the sky..

Over the past several days, the entire United States has been divided by politics.. divided by race.. It will be divided in half on August 21 by a 100% total solar eclipse cruising the middle of the nation.. While the 70 mile or so line of totality is being viewed by several large cities, the entire US is going to be darker than normal.. Some at 95% to 75% .. some less.. But the entire nation will see this.

Forgive me for conjuring up the occult or supernatural, but this darkening of the skies seems appropriate given the circumstances of history; the racial divide with a death of Heather Heyer in a race riot between neo-Nazis and Confederates vs Antifa and others. With peaceful protesters in between. Donald Trump stepped into political abyss by blaming all sides. The media sensed covert and now overt racism.. The divided nation took sides even more staunchly.. we are suddenly forgetting the health care debate or imminent nuclear threat from North Korea, and instead facing demons we haven’t had the courage to look at before. Confederate soldiers are being taken down from their prominent places they were at since the Jim Crow era.. The city of Baltimore had a mayor act responsibly under the cover of night to remove statues in order to prevent violence..  Most cities where Civil War battle lines and the worst of the racist past existed are facing an immediate existential crisis..

Photos and video of Nazi flags waving in streets of the United States were shocking. But then the murder and mayhem caused by one man in Charlottesville brought us to the cusp of a new American nightmare.. a civil war that should have ended in 1865.  Radical Republicans at that time chose to punish the South instead of integrating.. Abraham Lincoln was killed. And the rest was sad history, up until almost 100 years later when people who did no wrong, but only had a darker complexion, finally had the right to drink from the same water fountains and have the right to vote. Sadly it took even longer for lynching and public murder to stop..

And now, in 2017 America, we suddenly realize that many of us still hate. We still forget true scientific rationale that there really are no races.. just one. Cultures and bloodlines yes.. but all from one human ancestry.  Unless the aliens seeded us, we are all from stardust. From the great universe.. from the higher power.

No race is better than the other, or worse.. We are simply from different lands across the Earth. Many of our ancestors converged in the United States. Some by choice. Some by force. Some stole land from natives.. and centuries later we ALL became stressed by the oppressive weight of political debate, debt, and constant stream of heartbreak on social media platforms of your own desire and download choice.

This is America, 2017. Shaky and stressed, angry and distressed.

An America that is now going to be plunged into darkness.

This could be a changing period.

Nostrodamus expert John Hogue told George Noory the other night on COAST TO COAST AM that this eclipse could portend the beginning of the end of the American century.

It seems somewhat appropriate in the scheme of things, as well. Timing is key.. no coincidences.

Are we, as humanity, illuminating the darkness in our hearts, or is the darkness of the moon’s shadow simply visited the nation where most divide and hatred exist?

We have a big choice in the near future, along with several small ones. The immediate obsession of a darkened ground will give us enough time to stare at our faces in a dim mirror.. and see how bright a soul shines back…
