The U.S. Geological Survey recorded the 4.7 quake at 11 p.m. Sunday about four miles northeast of Greenbrier– which is 35 miles north of Little Rock..
But it didn’t end there..
There was a preliminary magnitude 3.8 quake 18 minutes later and a preliminary 3.6 magnitude quake was recorded at 2:46 a.m. this morning..
Rumors have been abounding over the earthquake swarm that is hitting the state recently. Some theories include hydraulic fracking–the process that the extracts natural gas from the ground.
