A Friday the 13th in March

None of us want to remember March 13, 2020… but we do.

It is that time of year again 🙂 .. the holiday parties, the work lunches, the happy hours, the shopping that feels half-present and half-numb. We scroll Amazon, clicking nonsense into carts for people who don’t need it. We forget where the car is parked. We forget what we’re even doing in the middle of a store. We’re overwhelmed, distracted and oddly disconnected.

The Fire-Breathing Bird Dream.. so vivid I had to write about it

I had a dream about a fire breathing bird that eventually became my friend. It was so vivid I had to write about it..

Maybe a dream like this tells us that the things that scare us are not here to destroy us.. they just don’t want to be forgotten.
