A federal prosecutor said Thursday that a man accused of firing shots near the White House will be charged with attempting to assassinate the president or a member of his staff.Oscar Ramiro Ortega-Hernandez, who was detained Wednesday in Pennsylvania, was allegedly involved in a shooting Friday nightnear the White House.
