This site so many times focuses on the world, and many times the universe, but neglects the news of my locality. The name is “coal speaker” for a reason.. this is based out of the deep dark mines of Pennsylvania. And today, those deep dark mines had a tragedy.

Four people, three of them children–and one of them seven months old–died in a large fire tore through five homes in Shenandoah, PA..

An eight year old escaped through a window.. but four other souls have gone.. 

The thought of so much loss happening so fast.. is something I cannot grapple with.

Thoughts tonight with the people hurt and hit by this awful event.
