No matter what happens with Sandy, it should be noted (with help of this NASA image of the storm), this is one Great North American Superstorm. Plain and simple.
The other amazing aspect of this Superstorm
Wind. Rain. Floods. The high tide. The full moon. The cold front. The phase into a Nor’Easter. And now this: Blizzard warnings along the back side, where some high parts of West Virginia could get 60 (SIXTY!?) inches of snow.. WOW.

PPL Electric here in Pennsylvania is warning customers of a week-long outage from Sandy
Rumor has it from someone close to me that a restaurant was filled with workers from various states here today.. the person told the waitress they will be here for two weeks. Could the power outages be THAT bad??
