But as with any quake, there’s a 5% each one is a foreshock of another.. The 4.4 magnitude that occurred scared lots of people. This one did more to do that.
Remember it’s been years since LA had its last big one.. The mid 1990s as matter of fact.
Here we are, in a new century. Quake free.
That could be changing.
Although, I somewhat laughed at the “damage” photos being posted. The good news from the images is that it seems those most busy with the ‘cleanup’ will be stock boys in grocery stores–much much better than search and rescue teams combing rubble.
