Breathing Exercises Can Help Control High Blood Pressure:
- One in 3 American adults have high blood pressure and nearly 1 in 4 reports feeling extremely stressed. These two conditions are closely related, and both can be addressed through breathing exercises
- Essential hypertension (high blood pressure with no known cause), may be prevented by implementing breathing exercises, provided you do it early enough
- The reason controlled, purposeful breathing is so calming is because it doesn’t activate specific neurons in your brain that communicate with your arousal center
Some health to learn remember.
I am most likely sure that I suffer from air hunger–the occasional but frightening moment when stress takes over and you hyperventilate without knowing it, causing lightheaded feelings, stress, a racing heart, and paranoia.. It has all to do with anxiety for me. For some others it could be associated with an underlying medical issue.
Regardless of cause, breathing and PROPER breathing at that has a lot to do with how to you feel and act..
The best thing to do is not not think about breathing–easier said than done when you’re going through a rough bout of air hunger. But if you can master it, the idea that you disconnect from your breathing and just let it happen, your entire mind and body will be happier for it.
