As I type this short post, the weather has finally turned from the heat of summer into the chill of autumn..
There is a magical moment, however, when you can tell that summer has turned off and the fall has been supercharged. That came last night as the remnants of that awfully deadly hurricane Michael raced through Eastern Pennsylvania on a voyage to the ocean. Before it left, the destruction along the Florida panhandle was evident in photo and video reports..
Oddly enough, this Category 4ish-5 storm got very little media attention. Perhaps because we are not in the heat of political battle: Robo calls galore as the midterm elections get ready to dominate the existence of television cable news stations.
