Veterans Day or Hallowen? The story of mishandled remains of the war dead at Dover would make you think it’s a horror flick instead of real life..

This is how the Washington POST reports the horrific news:

The Air Force admitted that the Dover mortuary misplaced a dead soldier’s ankle and another set of remains that had been stored in a plastic bag. Employees also sawed off the damaged arm bone of a Marine so he could fit in his uniform and coffin — but did not tell his family

The disrespect and shoddy work should be criminal.. These are men and women with families and lives.. they deserve respect. They died serving the nation in the battles that the leaders chose to fight. And when they come home the thanks they receive is having parts of their bodies go missing..?

The handling of the war dead is one of the most sacred things that this nation should be doing..And instead now many are thrown into a landfill. Nothing sacred. Nothing special.. nothing that even an animal would deserve, in my opinion..
