It struck Haiti as a Cat 4… it was briefly a category 5.. there is a chance that when it dances with the East Coast of the United States it will still be a strong 3 .. I fear the ocean waters are warm enough that–if the eyewall stays off shore–it could even tick back to a category 4 or stronger..
