Greetings from my world to yours..
From my son, who was longingly looking at a snowstorm as it began today.. to Mutley the Dog, who was counting every single flake as his next bite in the great nature buffet..
Today, the day before Thanksgiving 2014, was a fine day. It was marred by travel nightmares and chaos.. but as someone had no where at all to go in a storm, and whose wife, son, and pet were all home bound, it was not at nightmare at all.. instead it was filled with laughs, joyful moments, and time away from work.. and even tech.
Every Thanksgiving should be like that, at least a bit..
So that’s my story.
It’s not much, but it’s that.
And now the biggest party night of the year begins, as we are told by people who say things of that such.. my party is stalled a bit. But that’s fine..
I’m sipping on a carbonated water and contemplating turning in early for the evening.. Abraham Lincoln gave us Thanksgiving. I am thankful at this moment for a warm bed waiting, with snow falling under a street light outside..
So if you party, do it hardy.
But don’t be a Paul Blart, you don’t want that..
And until the morning, be ready on the roads..
Because today is a traveling nightmare.

BY TRAIN
