Just weeks ago, the sweltering heat of autumn was alarming. Almost 80 degrees in mid-November under an usually hot-baking sun. And now as we enter the week before Christmas time frame, there is a shocking model run predicting anywhere from 24 to 36 inches of snow in a large swath of Maryland, Pennsylvania, and New York..

Some of our ancestors who remain present on the planet earth will attest to much worse winters of the past, however.. They will say they had to ‘jump to spat’ at times when they were kids, that the snow was up to the necks and they were still forced to trudge through it to school houses on a secluded country road!
Maybe much of this is hyperbole, but we can look to past headlines to gauge the patterns that once were.. and maybe learn from then to capture a glimpse of life in the patterns of the future..
Amazing Huge Waterspout in Penang, Malaysia (April 1, 2019).. This incredible footage shot shows George Town, in Penang, Malaysia, where almost 200,000 people live. Local media reports that at least 50 houses in the area were badly damaged, but the water dispersed just five minutes after reaching land.
