Storms across the Atlantic

This is going to be an endlessly exciting month for fans of nature and weather–and space.

My prayer is that my home in the coal remains will be able to see the August 21 solar eclipse–75% for me while others in my extended family more to the south will see a 100% totality. IF the weather cooperates.

And that is the big question. Right now there are a number of tropical systems being looked at .. a few have a chance to cloud up the East Coast right around the time when the eclipse is high in the sky.

There are even SOME—some—models bringing tropical systems along the East Coast within the next ten days.

August/September/October is typically the high time for high tides with storms in the Atlantic.. This year appears to be similar.

Prayers to the higher being that land will be spared, skies will be blue, and the Solaris eclipse will darken the landscape…
