There are varied reports tonight that a school in Rockport Texas has collapsed.. others on Twitter say they confirmed that only a wall caved in.. Even more, there are rumors that entire builds are collapsing, that parts of roofs are being dislocated from their structure..
There is on story that Rockport’s city manager is aware of certain tragedies occurring but that rescue workers are not going to be able to get to the locations under safer conditions begin to settle in – that looks many hours away if not days.
A lot of people decided to stay.. some stocked up for parties.
But I just cannot get this story out of my mind of of Rockport’s mayor saying that people should write their names and social security numbers on their arms in case they die during Hurricane Harvey..
The danger is real.
