The Night Pat Murphy Died: Megan heads back to court

After all these years.. all these delays, it appears that Megan (Or Magen) Hall will be heading back to court in New Orleans…

Hall, you may recall, was the prostitute accused of murdering Pottsville jeweler Patrick Murphy on February 18, 2019 at the Empress Hotel on Mardi Gras.

Since then, her fate has been delayed by court procedures, and subsequently COVID-19 ..

According to the latest information on the case, the criminal district court in Orleans Parish has scheduled a conference in her case for February 8, 2021.

That could mean a trial is coming.. Or it just could mean another date to plan another date is coming.

The wheels of justice move slow… This seemingly has ground to a halt!

New Orleans police are alleging that Hall stabbed Murphy three times, once in the neck and twice in the abdomen. A housekeeper discovered his deceased body hours later.

Police accused Hall of murder and also said that she left the hotel room with some of his possessions.

Hall, now age 27, has been in prison in lieu of a $750,000 bond.
