We cannot let this go without comment.
Every now and then we peruse the classified online to see if there is a homestead beyond the “Coal Region” worthy of relocating. Perhaps a new “speaker” one day in the future.
Until then, coal remains in our blood.

A house was sent to us tonight that looks quite nice.

A beautiful kitchen, a large yard.. a nice and stately property coming to us from Virginia. The description reads,

Now at first it may be a little shocking .. what occurred in this room? Clearly if a murder or suicide happened they would have cleaned it. So it is purposely.
Was a movie made here? A TV show?
Did someone really, really like horror movies?
If I bought this house I’d call it the SHINING room.
After all, when you look at it for a while, it seems to grow on you.. you become one with the blood.
Seriously though, despite this being so far away and someone most likely about to purchase since the “contingent” label has been placed on the property, wouldn’t you just love to know the story behind why the blood soaked design was created for this location? We sure would!
