A search warrant filed at the office of Magisterial District Judge John Gembic reveals a man entered the Shamokin Police Station at approximately 2:30 p.m. Tuesday and told Patrolman Raymond Siko II, “I killed my girlfriend. … I wanted to tell you.”

The story is being spread throughout social media, not only for the horrific nature of the crime, but because of further details that have been released about a past crime at the same location..
The man, who police identified as Andre Stone, of 631 S. Market St., Shamokin, went on to tell Siko, “I couldn’t take it anymore and I strangled her,” the search warrant alleges.
At the scene on South Market Street, Shamokin Chief of Police Darwin Tobias III told the media that a deceased woman is believed to be inside the home.
According to the report, after telling police he had killed his girlfriend, Stone allegedly told police that he is not sure if he has AIDS or the coronavirus but he couldn’t take the situation any longer.

He went on to tell police he had a kitchen knife left on a table in case he couldn’t strangle his girlfriend to death, but said he didn’t need to use it, according to the search warrant.
Stone allegedly told police the body is located on the living room floor of the South Market Street home.
When police arrived on scene, they made entry to the home through an unlocked window and, after moving a curtain, observed a female, who appeared blue in color, lying on the floor of the home.
The search warrant revealed the woman did not have a pulse when police made contact with her in the home.
Police said a murder-suicide occurred at the same residence that the investigation is currently focusing on years ago..
