On Thursday, the Brevard County Sheriff’s Department suspended Corporal Chris Wood for bringing a can of Arizona Ice Tea and a bag of Skittles to work at the Brevard County Jail on Saturday morning. He said that he was trying to send a message about the importance of keeping personal predilections about cases from affecting the work environment; instead, his superiors suspended him

So the simple act of eating Skittles is becoming a political statement.. We are getting pretty touchy, don’t you think? So I ask, when you pick up a Paul Roberts’ Mars Inc Skittles bag, are you eating them to enjoy the taste of the rainbow, or trying to make a political statement? Prosecutors accidentally send out images of a dead Trayvon Martin.

This seems to be a pretty horrible error made by Florida prosecutors in the Trayvon Martin murder case. Among the confidential documents that were ‘accidentally’ released was a photograph of Martin’s dead corpse.  Prosecutors quickly emailed reporters requesting that they do not use the picture of Trayvon Martin’s lifeless body, as they were not meant for … Read moreProsecutors accidentally send out images of a dead Trayvon Martin.
