Midsummer nightmare: The ‘Lies Are Products Tell Us’ is back in grocery store packages again!

The weird note that is being found in grocery store packages has reared its ugly head again.

We first reported on this back in 2020 as the pandemic began and lockdowns were in full force..

As the pandemic continued, the contents of the note changed to address the virus.

We started to get a number of reports through 2021 of people finding the piece of strange paper in their products.

Just this week as the summer of 2022 reaches its mid-peak, we have yet again been contacted by a reader who found the really bizarre note in a product that they purchased at a Giant Supermarket in Carbon County.

A reader, Katherine, shared information with us a few nights ago that she purchased a box of Velveeta Mac and Cheese at her local Giant. When she opened the product, tucked away at the bottom, was a note that we have all come to know very well.. One we actually attempted to translate back in 2020, though there have been some variations since.

Katheine told us that the box was completely sealed with no evidence of tampering. .She pulled out the contents and all of the packets and found the weird note at the bottom of the box, all folded up neatly.

The new note appears to have some new additions and slight deviations from the past..

The emotions of high strangeness were clear.. Our reader told us that it was very scary for her, and if “they can slip in those without being seen, what else can they do to our food”?

The box had a best used by December 3 2022 on the package, and appeared to be distributed by Kraft Heinz Foods in Chicago Illinois..

Katherine commented to us on her fear: ..”its not like I can even decipher the messages but im def concerned for my family and my child”..

Despite our reporting over the past two years, we have never personally found this note anywhere, despite hearing from those who had firsthand accounts of finding one..

There have been Reddit posts and social media attention to the oddity..

Is it a disgruntled factory worker? Packaging employee? But all those cameras.. wouldn’t someone be caught with ease?

Perhaps someone in a store slipping it in.. ? But no witnesses?

We have been consistently confused by how this is continuous.. And as promised before, we will continue to report on any information we get..

Is it time to start considering this type of product breach a crime?
