Politically and socially, something has changed substantially in the previous year.. AI has gone from new and exciting to … well, people are just angry. The populace has become united on the AI data center front.. Democrats and Republicans joining forces in their nationwide hostility about the newest AI data center owner becoming the town’s newest huge neighbor.. Could that with news that a lot of pastors are using AI to write sermons.. and you have a recipe for another phase of anti-AI sentiment, and a more religious and extreme angle..
The AI times are a chagin’..
AI has gone through phases… from stupid images of Will Smith eating spaghetti to really fake signs with misspellings along with fearful images of LOAB … all the way now to now a new evolution of every image being overly detailed and ridiculous amounts of overwhelming colors and energy with vibrant and over the top word salad pictures.. it’s just stupid.
Make your own images or signs..
Stop using fake ice cream AI pictures at your ice cream shop…
Design a menu yourself.. draw an image.. make in MS Paint for all we care..
Mayors: Start writing your own speeches and not pushing it all through with AI and adding into over the top AI slop images that pepper our brains with too much information..
Just stop, for the love of God, stop with the AI generated slop that is filling social media …
Visual overload. Our senses can’t take it!
And what makes it even more offensive is the fact that AI has just become an entity that keeps making everything look and feel the same.. Nothing exceptional is being created, but instead just the same style over and over again..
People are becoming more and more upset by AI data centers all across the United States–it’s the latest political battleground.. But aside from the water usage or the debate about noise or changes in your once serene tree-filled landscape, there is something else to consider: Data centers could possibly be used as storage of all of the Flock camera information being stored on people, but maybe it is also giving us way too many of the same AI slop images. Sure, there are security and privacy concerns along with overwhelming economic changes, but right now the immediate thing we are seeing are similar images being posted across the socials. We have become a populace of people creating AI images that no one will even read… except maybe AI. Just a bunch of sludge in the once human filled HTMLs of the interwebs..
Human attention is finite, we know that already… platforms have finite capacity to surface content. When you flood the zone with AI-generated material, you really aren’t replacing human art with something better because you’re drowning it out through sheer volume of garbage..
People creating prompts or AI itself may also now realize that people grow very weary of reading large scale images with word salads plopped all over them. Maybe at first we are intrigued by a few images… or words.. but it is too much, it is ridiculously over the top, and it is to a point where we grow so tired of what we are seeing visually that the overall message gets confused and lost in the picture..
The image used for this post was created by AI.. I asked AI to make light of its visual overload images.. It is so great at making those visual overloads that it was just natural and didn’t even know it was mocking itself. Is there irony to using an AI image to mock slop? There is.. and even more ironic is AI creating an image of Bob Ross using the wrong end of the paint brush.

It would be imagined that college students studying graphic design are overwhelming by their counterparts creating movies and images with Ai that lack logic and coherence.. and they just throw their human hands up in resignation.. if you can’t beat ’em you join ’em?
Or just keep being you.. keep being real. In a world filled with slop and devoid of true creativity, the real and human may have a renaissance.. after, of course, the period of dark ages of non human graphic overload..
