FOURTH OF JULY FIREWORKS: NORTH KOREA EDITION

As the United States celebrates another year of independence from Britain, the timing can be predictable.. North Korea just launched a missile.. it was an ICBM and it hit Japanese waters..

The nation stated that it was a successful launch..

Back in 2006, North Korea gave the US a six-rocket salute and missile test.. This is not the first time that NK has used a major US National holiday as a date of testing..

“The initial analysis by South Korean and the U.S. authorities is assuming that today’s provocation was of a mid-to-long range missile, but we are not ruling out the possibility of the missile being ICBM class,” South Korea’s President Moon Jae-In said, according to a press pool report on Tuesday.

“If the missile indeed was an ICBM type, we will seek relevant response,” he said, adding that his government would “respond firmly,” using “all possible means,” which included sanctions and dialogue.

According to initial estimates: The missile flew for about 600 miles for 40 minutes–an achievement for North Korea..

With this success, Pyongyang now says its intercontinental missile can reach anywhere in the world..
