This game! This game is amazing.

Let me begin by saying, about a year again when I heard that Playstation was fully remastering the CRASH games, I got silly and excited..so much so that I went to eBay to purchase all of the old games again for my old Playstation that actually still works (my original NINTENDO does still, too) ..

I counted down on the calendar.. I did not have shared my anticipation with anyone except my son.. June 2017 .. June 2017.. June 2017.

I armed myself with as much spoiler news as I can get..

And now.. finally.. Today had the chance to get the game. I sat down late after my family went to bed.. popped it in.. and could not believe how great it is.

The music is clear and pitch perfect.. the sounds effects are mind bending. The glitter and gold is the remastered game play itself. The backgrounds.. the clear colors.. the perfection that never could be found in the mid 1990s is now here. The trilogy is just about as perfect as you can get.

I actually had some flashbacks to my days in the summers of the 90s and early 2000s.. I played these games sometimes all night. While my body aches from a day without rest and my mind is reeling from adulthood, I don’t think my teenage abilities will quite be as much as they were then. Nonetheless, the game brings back a sense of nostalgia. But there is something different. It is so good that each round feels new.. each level almost makes you believe you are playing a brand new game.

Buy this game. Play this game. Enjoy this game.

Treasure it!

And maybe it will bring about some NEW games? Maybe Crash isn’t done spinning and breaking into boxes of peaches.. Maybe Cortex will find his way into a new world.

Meanwhile I am jealous. Yes I own the game now. But I do NOT own the cartridge case that the makers of the game received: A retro style Playstation holder.. that is a reason to be jealous.

ONE CAVEAT.. If you breezed your way through the crash games before, do NOT expect to do that again. Things get a little tougher with a remastering of this nature..
