The newfound fame of the name Megan Hall is not because of her toilet talk with fellow inmates in New Orleans, but a whole other Megan who was actually a police officer. A cop that got caught up in a wild ride.

And now a second horrific event occurred as Adrian Oswaldo Sura Reyes used his car as a weapon by driving into the fundraiser–and killing his mother with a hammer..
Yet again the region makes national news for less than splendid subject matter..

Megan (Magen) Hall’s case has been long delayed due to COVID-19, and now the aftermath of Hurricane Ida. New Orleans was hit hard and the aftermath of the storm left behind often critical locations being without power. As life returns to its slow normal, Hall’s case will proceed through the legal process…
But until then, friends and family of Murphy will have to grapple with the modern fame of his accused killer from a jail in the Big Easy.
