The mini-monolith of Pittsburgh PA

Utah. Romania. California.. and now a mini version of the new worldwide sensation of appearing monoliths is at Joe’s Candy Shop in Pittsburgh PA.

This one appears much smaller, and much less stable. Just slightly attached to the pavement in the business district..

However unlike the others, this one was planned.

REUTERS reports this: Capitalizing on the intrigue surrounding the other monoliths and hoping to provide a distraction from the daily drumbeat of COVID-19 news, the owner of Grandpa Joe’s Candy Shop, Christopher Beers, commissioned a 10-foot tall, 24-inch wide triangle of plywood covered in sheet metal…





But its now added to the mix of global monoliths. Big and small.
