That was the experience across The coal region on Sunday for countless motorists who decided that the early morning rain would stay rain. It did not.
Instead it became a hard hitting snowstorm of brief but epic proportions! Five inches in some areas fell within an hour.. The aftermath included snow covered highways and byways filled with danger and misery
